Introducing the much-anticipated Watsons PINK Run 2023, a monumental event that promises to leave its mark in the pages of Malaysia’s record books
‘Pink Promise’
In conjunction with Watsons Malaysia’s ‘Pink Promise’ campaign in October to raise awareness for the Breast Cancer movement to The Breast Cancer Welfare Association (Malaysia). Watsons is organizing its first-ever PINK Family Run at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya, Symphony East, with over 3,000 participants from all age groups.
“As the leading online and offline (O+O) health and beauty retailer in Malaysia, Watsons encourages a healthy lifestyle for our customers and members through the Get Active program.
In addition to that, we aim to emphasize the importance of breast health and the significance of early detection as the best form of prevention,” said Caryn Loh, Managing Director, Watsons Malaysia & Regional Exclusives Director of Watsons International.
Watsons PINK Run 2023
The Watsons PINK Run 2023 was held with a full-fledged festival setting where participants were also treated to various engagement activities throughout the day.
The event is the pinnacle highlight of Watsons Pinky Promise campaign where throughout the month, Watsons promotes breast cancer awareness through various platforms.
This is also its sixth year collaborating with the Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA) Malaysia to ensure the success of this campaign.

Health & Beauty Bazaar
During Watsons PINK Run 2023, participants were treated to a Health & Beauty Bazaar which sees 20 booths from participating brands.
It offers health sampling products and engagement activities while enjoying free health check-ups from Watsons Pharmacist team and breast check from BCWA.
To further instil clear messaging on breast cancer, the Watsons PINK Run also sees participants given healthy tips along the running route.
Caryn added, “It is our responsibility to help our community grow into a more nurturing and caring society. We hope that with this program, our customers and members will benefit the most, as it serves as a reminder that staying healthy and fit is the path to a better future.”

Malaysia Book of Records
A record was achieved in the Malaysia Book of Records during Watsons’ PINK Run 2023 as over 3,000 participants formed the largest pink ribbon.Watsons Malaysia donated to BCWA to support breast cancer awareness and Malaysians.
Additionally, Watsons Malaysia made a donation to BCWA in recognition of their ongoing efforts to raise awareness and provide support for breast cancer among Malaysians
